Jewel Night Club Grand Opening Invitations
ARIA Hotels + Casinos in Las Vegas was looking for a way to invite their VIP clientele to their grand opening of their new nightclub JEWEL. They wanted something that would live beyond its use of the delivered message, an item that the end user will want to keep and cherish.
As the user opens the box a LED light would be activated that would illuminate a hologram on the underside for the lid. This hologram would have the invitation details for the grand opening.
Lifting the lid would reveal a stir stick provided by the co-sponsor, Grey Goose Vodka, a jeweler's glass, and the invitation laser etched onto a small gold acrylic triangle. The invitation would be etched small enough that the jeweler's glass would be needed to read it.
The client chose to go with a hybrid of the 2 concepts presented, they wanted the shape of concept 2, and the functionality of concept 1.
