Working as a packaging designer my office was in need of a coat rack to hang jackets during the cooler months. Rather than purchase one I looked to the materials I was surrounded by for inspiration. Being already familiar with the structural characteristics of corrugated cardboard it made sense to use as the primary material.  I wanted the product to be easily manufactured and durable enough to be a viable product.  After using the initial prototype for over a year I went into manufacturing and did a small prduct run that was sold in stores.
