Cardboard Coat Rack

As a packaging designer at the Great Little Box Company I needed something to hang my wet clothing on during the rainy months. Instead of purchasing a coat rack, I looked to my surrounding environment for inspiration. Having witnessed the structural capabilities of corrugated cardboard the choice was obvious.  After my original prototype lasted through 2 winters I made the decision to do a small production run and had them for sale in a local designer goods shop in Vancouver.

The coat rack was made entirely of cardboard and 100% recylcable, there was no additional hardware or materials used.

Product was flat packed and easy to assemble. 2 identical pieces interlocked to create the finished product.
